As a Pace Setter School, we are in the top five percent of all schools that have reached the fourth recognition point, and met the dropout and novice reduction requirement of CATS. We hold the distinction of being 1 of 63 schools in Kentucky to become a Pace Setter School in 2006. South Elementary also met the Adequate Yearly Progress for the federal No Child Left Behind Act.
